I’m Premraj, a somatic practitioner specializing in nervous system healing, safety, and embodied presence.
Safety is the foundation of our aliveness. When it’s disrupted—by trauma, loss, or chronic stress—we don’t just feel anxious or overwhelmed. We often lose access to ourselves. This can show up as numbness, disconnection, hypervigilance, exhaustion, or even physical illness. What’s often missing beneath all of this is not insight, but safety.
My work is about helping you return to that safety.
Through nervous system–based work, we gently restore your capacity to feel present, grounded, and alive in your own body. This presence is not something you have to achieve—it’s something you remember. When the body feels safe again, connection becomes natural. Clarity returns. Peace becomes possible.
I work primarily with Somatic Experiencing, and Hakomi, a body-based approach that follows sensation rather than story. Instead of endlessly analyzing our experiences, we learn how to feel through them—slowly, safely, and in real time. This allows the nervous system to complete what was once overwhelming, and to reorganize around stability rather than threat.
In our work together, I offer a deeply attuned, regulated presence—a nervous system you can borrow until you remember how to trust your own. This creates a container where even the most tender, confusing, or previously unsafe parts of you can be met without judgment.
This is not about fixing you. It’s about remembering who you are beneath survival.
My personal journey has taken me through many of the places people come to me with—loss, disorientation, nervous system collapse, and the long path back to safety. That lived experience, combined with years of training, allows me to guide you with both skill and genuine understanding.

Somatic, means felt sense or any sensation in the body. We work with and develop what sensations are happening this moment in the body. This can be discomfort, pain, anxiety, numbness, joy, or any range of emotional senses or physical sensations. If you don’t know what you are feeling or have appropriate labels we will work together to explore and define them.
After getting settled and comfortable, we will begin to address whatever issues you are having by looking at what feelings are happening when you share your concerns. I will gently invite you to watch, notice, and follow whatever those feelings are. They can be very subtle and hidden, or they can be quite loud and strong. We will always stay inside your comfort zone and often move from discomfort to places of comfort and relaxation. In the end we are also looking to support and strengthen what is working for you, not always looking at the most difficult issues going on in your life.
That is perfectly fine. Sometimes we were too young or even unconscious (surgery for example) to remember the story. We don’t really need the story because when working with the felt sense your body remembers what it felt like at that time. We work with the feeling and a story will often emerge that fits the feelings. Completion looks like moving through the present feelings and creating a new ending that resolves the issue and we may never need the story at all. It can also be that opening the feelings will awaken the mind and the true memories can come forth.
There is no telling how long any particular issue will ultimately take, but sometimes one session can resolve a long standing issue. It is up to our willingness to really feel what is present and allow it to move through our body and come to a new place to live from. However, people usually find that this kind of support is really beneficial for navigating all sorts of issues in life and choose to continue sessions even after the original issue is resolved.
