I am Premraj and I specialize in nervous system support and repair. Safety is the foundation on which our aliveness rests and which my personal journey has delivered numerous lessons. Loss of presence is what forms around our trauma responses and feels like anything from nameless anxiety to numbness or even illness. In learning to return to safety is the key to connection found. No matter your issue, by returning to the body and navigating the nervous system we can all return to a deep peace and presence which feels like the “answer” we are always longing for. It has been my life’s work and practice to learn how to expertly navigate the nervous system and support your return to safety and presence.
I use a method called Somatic Experiencing which follows the feelings in the body to move between activation and safety. By providing a safe container and a nervous system to “borrow” together we can remember or learn how to navigate this again. Being attuned to your nervous system and personal safety feels like a deep relaxation and coming home. Remembering your true self brings such a security and trust that you are whole as you are, able to face any situation, and the confidence that you can navigate your own nervous system going forward no matter what life presents.
I find that we can talk about, learn about, and understand our issues indefinitely. Somatic Experiencing goes to the next step, which is to feel through those places this very moment. It often requires a slowing down to feel into your truth and I provide the container and support to do just that. My training has helped me develop a container where everything is safe to be shared and there is no place you can go that I haven’t been to already for myself. This is my gift and my expertise to guide you through feeling into safety and presence.

Somatic, means felt sense or any sensation in the body. We work with and develop what sensations are happening this moment in the body. This can be discomfort, pain, anxiety, numbness, joy, or any range of emotional senses or physical sensations. If you don’t know what you are feeling or have appropriate labels we will work together to explore and define them.
After getting settled and comfortable, we will begin to address whatever issues you are having by looking at what feelings are happening when you share your concerns. I will gently invite you to watch, notice, and follow whatever those feelings are. They can be very subtle and hidden, or they can be quite loud and strong. We will always stay inside your comfort zone and often move from discomfort to places of comfort and relaxation. In the end we are also looking to support and strengthen what is working for you, not always looking at the most difficult issues going on in your life.
That is perfectly fine. Sometimes we were too young or even unconscious (surgery for example) to remember the story. We don’t really need the story because when working with the felt sense your body remembers what it felt like at that time. We work with the feeling and a story will often emerge that fits the feelings. Completion looks like moving through the present feelings and creating a new ending that resolves the issue and we may never need the story at all. It can also be that opening the feelings will awaken the mind and the true memories can come forth.
There is no telling how long any particular issue will ultimately take, but sometimes one session can resolve a long standing issue. It is up to our willingness to really feel what is present and allow it to move through our body and come to a new place to live from. However, people usually find that this kind of support is really beneficial for navigating all sorts of issues in life and choose to continue sessions even after the original issue is resolved.
